Services
Field geotechnical work, testing, and special inspections.
Explorations for every scale, full instrumentation, construction monitoring (vibration, settlement, embankment, noise, dust), CMT, specialty field and lab tests, and building-code special inspections. We prioritize major contractors and municipal, county, state, and federal projects.
Illustrative of the work (not a named GeoServices job).
Exploration & engineering
Geotechnical engineering
Explorations, recommendations for foundations, earthwork, and pavements, and construction review in Minnesota conditions.
Subsurface
Soil borings / test pits
Borings and test pits so the log, the samples, and the report belong to the same job.
Instrumentation
Geotechnical installations
Full geotechnical instrumentation — piezometers, settlement points, inclinometers, extensometers, embankment instruments, and more.
During construction
Monitoring
Vibration, settlement, embankment, piezometer, noise, and dust monitoring — control plans and weekly packs.
Field + laboratory
CMT and laboratory
Compaction, concrete QC, MnDOT topsoil / borrow, and laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, and concrete.
Field tests
Field testing
State-of-the-art infiltration, anchors, GPR to 36 in., condition surveys, structural and retaining-wall assessment, resistivity for solar.
Observation
Special inspections
Minnesota Building Code / IBC Chapter 17 special inspections. We observe and document pile, pier, and helical installations, plus steel, concrete, masonry, soils, and fire-resistant materials as required.
Public testing list
Field, laboratory, inspections, and instruments.
Capability board for contractors and public owners.

We prioritize work for major contractors and for municipal, county, state, and federal projects. Special inspections follow the Minnesota Building Code (IBC Chapter 17 as adopted). GPR for concrete embeds and thickness is limited to 36 inches of depth. Ask the office which items a given job needs — this is not an accreditation directory.
